Source of Hope ~ Food Pantry

Our goal at Source of Hope Food Pantry is to provide short-term assistance with free groceries to families and individuals who are in dire need as a result of circumstances beyond their control. There are no special requirements that need to be met for anyone who comes in requesting food. We also want to provide spiritual support through prayer.

  • Do I need to meet any special requirements to get assistance?
    No, there are no special requirements or quilifications to meet. All are welcome to the Source of Hope Food Pantry and all are eligible for assistance.
  • Do I need to bring any identification or special documants?
    No, You will not need to presesnt any documantion in order to recieve assistance from the Source of Hope Soup Kitchen. One of our volunteer will ask you a few questions in order to be able to provide you with the correct amount of food.
  • How can I get involved?
    You can get involved with the Source of Hope Food Pantry by Dropping off Donations - The Source of Hope Food Pantry accepts any food, health and beauty products, baby wipes, and diapers as donations. Become a Monthly Sponsor - Commit to providing one particular Food Pantry item on a monthly basis. You can do this by creating monthly subscriptions through online retailers such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com, etc. Or, by dropping off the item every month. Make a Monetary Donation - You can send a monetary donation to our mailing address at PO Box 174 Manteo, NC 27954 or make an online donation by clicking HERE. Become a Volunteer - There are many roles to be played at the Source of Hope Food Pantry. You can stock the shelves, pickup bulk donations, or deliver food to mention a few.
