About Source Church
Source Church was planted in 2009. The vision cast for Source Church was to be a church with open doors willing to accept all walks of life. Our goal was to create an atmosphere of worship where people felt comfortable letting their guard down and opening their hearts to Jesus. To the best of our ability, we still strive to carry out this vision. We believe that once a person is introduced to Christ they will never be the same. As they choose to walk out a relationship with Christ their life will change, the old will be gone and the new will come. We've seen this time and time again over the years. Lives that were bound by unforgiveness, hurt, addiction, and so much more have been changed and relinquished to Jesus.
An extension of our original vision was to have a food pantry where people could not just be fed spiritually, but also fed physically. In 2014, we opened the Source of Hope food pantry. It has been in operation for 6 years, supported by community donations and through volunteer support. A goal that we had in starting this food pantry was that anybody could come, that there would be no special requirement for your need to be met. In that, we have been able to feed countless families and see hope restored in people's lives. From this outreach, we have the ability to feed people in large amounts through our community dinners which are supported by donations and ran by volunteers. Because of all the community support, we are able to host multiple community dinners throughout the year. People have an opportunity to receive a freshly cooked hot meal.
